By now you would have seen the trailers for the forthcoming BBC Planet Earth Live series starting this Sunday 6 May. Richard Hammond and Julia Bradbury are the hosts for this live global wildlife event which includes features on the lions in the Masai Mara and elephants in Samburu, Kenya, black bears in Minnesota, meerkats in South Africa, lemurs in Madagascar and monkeys in Sri Lanka.

Further episodes follow next week on 9 and 10 May, and the series runs for a total of three weeks following the drama and exploits of the new born as they adapt to their surroundings. It promises to be unmissable!
